I should probably work harder next year.

I would have left it at that, but cryptic entries are really annoying. Anyway what I meant was that I didn't work very hard this year. I pulled my weight, I think, and maybe more than the people who see this as a 9-to-5 job, but not much. I'm very lucky - at this job, I always have been - but surely the luck has an expiry date. I'll work harder, I promise. You know who you are.

It's the kind of day journalists live for - banks collapsing, oil prices tumbling, share markets plunging. Of course I did none of those stories. Instead I wrote about a church that is increasing its investment in a lifestyle hub.
Lol.
I'm not complaining though. My brain is fried.
